Look who I poured wine with at Mo Merc on Friday!

Bridgett Kelly of the Kelly Twins!  She’s just adorable and hilarious – great with everyone that came by, especially the kids.  She and her twin sister, Margaret, host a TV show called Twice Baked and a radio talk show called Food Talk here in St. Louis.  They are both ambassadors for the Missouri wine industry, and she was the celebrity wine pourer on Friday.  Fun was had by all.  I also had a chance to say hi to Ken and Becky Miller from Sugar Creek Winery.  They poured their wines after me – they are just adorable too!

After my time slot was over, Terry and I headed over to the Cabela’s store across the hall where we saw this giant snapping turtle:

There were lots of aquariums and stuffed animals throughout the store, so we cruised through to see it all.  My impression of the store?  A slightly smaller version of Bass Pro Shop.  I’m not hunting oriented, so I spent my free dollars at the Archiver’s store next door.  But Cabela’s was neat to see in any case.
