Harvest is almost here!

We will be processing grapes on Sunday and Monday.  It’ll be a crazy weekend here since we are expecting three different growers to be bringing grapes by.  We’ll process Vignoles, Cayuga White, and Chardonel.  This is the normal time to harvest Cayuga White.  Due to lower crop levels and all the heat we’ve been experiencing lately, the Chardonel and the Vignoles is early this year.  Usually those two varieties will wait until the end of August to the first part of September before we pick.  We are keeping our fingers crossed that this heat wave will break a little this weekend.  If you are here when we are processing, you’ll have a chance to try some fresh juice.  Hope to see you soon!  Cheers.

I’m not sure at this point, but keep checking with us….I’ll know more (and post again) on Wed. or Thurs. as to whether we’ll have grapes coming in or not. Thanks for the interest!
