2008 Americana Concert Photos

This year’s Americana Festival was wonderful!  Amazing.  Stupendous.  And just plain fun.  Here are my favorite pics from the actual concerts.  I’ll post more of the great outdoor stuff that happened tomorrow.  But for now, here is a concert recap:

Thursday night was a DVD recording of three Winfield Champions, Mark Cosgrove, Robin Kessinger and Robert Shafer:

On Friday, The Grass Pack opened the show:

Then Dan Miller of Flatpick Guitar Magazine introduced David Grier and Wyatt Rice:

Saturday featured Wil Maring & Robert Bowlin followed by Bryan Sutton and Russ Barenberg:

After Barenberg/Sutton played, David Grier, Robert Bowlin, and Mark Cosgrove all joined them for a few amazing songs:

Then on Sunday the show opened with The Chapman Brothers:

Followed by Josh Williams:

And after Josh Williams finished up, The Chapmans and David Grier joined him for a few songs.  Then at the end they invited Colleen from the Grass Pack to come up and play a song:

Finally, David Grier finished off the festival with one last song:

Thanks to everyone who made last weekend a total success.  Clyde and I had a blast and hope that you all did too!
