And The Winner Is…..

Carol Says:

White wine, who knew? I’ll have to try it if I ever spill some red wine, usually it just gets drank at our house.

That’s right – white wine will take out red wine stains, according to Danene. I was glad to read that it worked for Jerry’s carpet too. Also, the product that takes out red wine stains is called ‘Wine Away’ and usually runs about $10 for a 12oz container. I’ll be carrying some soon, just in case you don’t want to waste any good Peaceful Bend white wine on taking out stains! 🙂

Carol, please email me your address and I’ll send you the four glasses on Monday.

Oh wait, after reading all the responses, I just have to give an honorable mention to Andy, who get the award for ‘most creative way to get rid of a stain’ :

Andy Says:

How about instead of getting the stain out you just buy 4 more bottles of Peaceful Bend wine, pour them into a bucket and soak the stained item in the wine until it is all the same color? How is that for a marketing idea :-)

Andy wins a puppy. 🙂

Congratulations Carol, and thanks for playing everyone! Have a great weekend. Cheers!

Video Tour Page and Don’t Forget About Yesterday’s Contest!

You still have plenty of time to enter yesterday’s contest. Click here for more details (or just scroll down). Be sure to have your answer posted in yesterday’s comment section by Friday, June 27 by 11:50pm central time.

But onto another project I’ve taken on….a youtube video! Oh boy, oh boy – this is my first time making a youtube video. It was pretty easy, although I didn’t realize how long it would take to upload to the youtube site. BUT it was definitely worth it, AND now I get to take you on virtual tours of the winery.

I’ve devoted a special page that you’ll find on the left called ‘Virtual Video Tours’. Just click on over there and you can view any of the videos I create of our place. I’ll also put up a post here with whatever newly-added video that I create. And please feel free to leave a comment on that page (or any post, or email me, or tell me while you are here visiting….) about what you would like to see a video of here at the winery. This is just the coolest thing! In my humble opinion anyways. I’m all excited about technology right now, in case you couldn’t tell! 🙂

So this first video is a tour of the guest cottage. Clyde has already made fun of my narrative on it, but hey, I gotta be me. At least we’re laughing together. Here is the video:

Thanks for taking a look! Now, go enter to win those wine glasses. Cheers!
