A winner!

Last night I traveled to Rocheport, MO for their town’s annual Wine Stroll.  I was paired up with Joey’s restaurant out of Columbia, MO who served a delicious crab & artichoke dip.  We were stationed at Art & Antiques (at the Corner of main and Pike streets)….what a beautiful store & a really cool blacksmith workshop!

Anyways, in a shameless plug to get folks to sign up for our email newsletter, I held a little newsletter give-away.  35 people signed up to enter to win this:

I used our brand-spankin’ new three-bottle gift box to make the prize….more in these boxes in a second.

First – the winner is…………….

Woohoo #2!  I didn’t have to count down very far on the list, did I?  So #2 is Erin Rooney – congratulations Erin!  I’ll be emailing you for your snail mail in a bit.  And to everyone at Rocheport – thanks so much for stopping by my table.  You totally made my night with all your compliments & interest.  I hope you enjoyed the event and can come by the winery sometime soon!

Back to the boxes for another second though….

I just ordered these in, and if you’d like to give a gift- these boxes are really versatile.  They can hold three bottles of wine, or one bottle plus two wine glasses plus chocolates, or two bottles of wine plus sausage & crackers, or….well, you get the idea!  Plus they are pre-printed so you don’t even need to wrap it if you don’t have time!  The box, the filler material and a beautiful bow is just $6.  I’ll even put it all together for you for free.  At the moment I have 2 bow colors…the pink & brown shiny one you saw in the picture above, and the gold as seen below:

These would make great birthday, anniversary, or coporate gifts.  Plus, I will have holiday-themed bows in the store in October, just in case you are an early Christmas shopper.  I’ll show those off once they come in. Oh, and if you’ve picked up an item for someone already that you want included in the box, I can definitely add that without any problems or extra cost.

Thanks for stopping by today, and I’ll be back tomorrow with a ridiculously easy Chicken & Honey recipe idea, as promised in our newsletter last week.
