10th Annual Cellar Party
THANK YOU ALL!!! We had so much fun on Saturday night….the weather was delightful, the musicians entertaining, the food delicious, and everyone that came was wonderful to talk with!
A big thanks to Bob & Terry Riley for providing all the food. I will be posting up the recipe for the Filipino chicken skewers (re-named ‘chicken on a stick’ by someone) on this blog later in the week. In the meantime, here are a few photos from the event….(and Elaine, I swear I didn’t pick up my camera once the whole evening, but seem to have stayed clean out of pics anyways – maybe next time! lol.)
Here’s FolkNBluesgrass, gettin’ down:
And people outside enjoying the music, wine and some delicious chicken on a stick:
Amanda’s kids donated their pumpkins to help decorate on Saturday evening:
I’m not sure if they had any choice in the donation….and I’m pretty sure they weren’t wild about donating all the leftover Halloween candy that we couldn’t pass out from Friday night. So another thanks to Cassie, Austin, and Taylor…I appreciate you sharing your artistry and your sugar with all of us on Saturday!
Finally, after the music stopped and most of the crowd had left, Bob and Terry came up to the salesroom for a little break and a glass of wine. I believe the picture below is of Bob explaining to Terry & Steve why chicken belongs on a stick:
Don’t Terry and Steve look amazed at Bob’s explanation? Who knew?!!
Or possibly they might have been talking politics. That was definitely the focus of a few wine garden conversations Saturday night!
We had a full house Saturday….Clyde counted 80 people at one point, which is pretty exciting for us. I hope everyone had a great time and can come back for many more cellar parties in the future! Cheers!
