I realized yesterday that I haven’t shown you any nature pictures around here at the winery. And I haven’t shown you any pics of the dogs lately either. I can’t believe how lax I’ve been, since they are two big reasons why I love Peaceful Bend. So, I combined the two….here’s a shot of all three of my doggies swimming in the Meramec yesterday morning:
I’m really looking forward to warmer weather and a float trip. Pepe has never been on a float trip, but he sure had fun swimming these last few warm days. The water is just a little bit chilly for me though. I’ll have to content myself with a glass of wine beside the water for now. Cheers!

The warm weekend has jump started Spring Fever. I know a motorcycle ride over those wonderful curves you have for highways will soon be in order for not only is the weather getting nicer but the wine supply is getting low. As nice as it was to sip wine by the fire during a winter evening, an evening sit on the porch during the longer daylight is always better with a bottle from Peaceful bend close by.

Dog gone dogs seem impervious to the cold. Almost makes me want to put a canoe in, but I know how cold it is in that river! Cool picture, literally!
