Happy belated holidays….

Sorry to be so late with another blog entry.  Clyde and I both caught a cold last week and then we had house guests this weekend that kept us busy.  In any case, we are finally getting over the worst of our sniffles and getting back into the swing of things again.  I hope everyone out there had a wonderful Easter and a wonderful Passover too!

Julie has stayed busy traveling the state and making wine deliveries.  She has added quite a few new stores in Kansas City, Columbia, Springfield, St. Louis, and other areas of Missouri.  For the complete listing of retailers that are carrying Peaceful Bend wine, just click here.  Julie will be at Mace’s grocery store in Cuba this coming Saturday afternoon for a tasting starting at 1pm.  If you are in the area be sure to drop by and say hi!

Finally, the last few days have been pretty gray and gloomy-looking around here.  But this morning the sun came out, and I caught a few shots of the morning mist lifting out of our hay field:

Here is Pepe checking out the flowers at the end of the field:

He reminds me of Ferdinand the Bull from one of my favorite childhood bedtime stories!

Clyde is getting ready to bottle more Huzzah Valley tomorrow, so we’ll be in and out of the cellar today and tomorrow.  If you have a chance to break free, come on down and enjoy this sunshine with us.  Cheers!
