Float Season Preparation

I received my Athleta catalog the other day and after perusing their selection I decided that this body is definitely not in shape for the upcoming bathing suit season. I have a few pounds that I’d like to shed and some serious toning needs to be done. Hopefully I’ll have enough time to get in shape since spring hasn’t even officially started yet!

Thanks to my neighbor Crystal over at Murphy’s Place, I’m trying out some of the principals of the Eat Clean diet authored by Tosca Reno. It looks like it pretty much aligns with how Clyde and I like to eat anyways so I’m hoping the changes will be easily incorporated into my lifestyle.

This morning I’ve found a few recent news links about wine consumption and weight issues. Thought I’d share them in case any of you are in the same boat as me this month!

Yes, trying to lose weight, and yes, going to make that crock pot bread pudding today. You’re sending mixed messages over there, Katie. ;)

LOL – the diet is so I can keep eating the bread pudding. Or because I ate too much of it! Maybe try whole wheat bread for the pudding….then it’ll be healthy. Yea, yea, THEN it’ll be good for you! ;)

Yea…TRYING to at least!! Eating healthier, exercising more…it’s working so far…I’ve shed some pounds :-) …and even dropped some pant sizes, so, I’m not complaining…but, long way to go still!
