Happy Thanksgiving!

Clyde and I are so grateful to have each and every one of you as our customers and friends.  I just can’t imagine what my life would be like if we hadn’t found Peaceful Bend.  I hope everyone out there is enjoying a delicious, relaxing, and gratifying day today!

Oh yeah, and I have a little Thanksgiving-away blog candy to announce from Wednesday.  Random.org chose comment #2 – Keri, who wrote:

We’re going basic: Turkey breast, pumpkin pie, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes (roasted, savory with garlic and cumin).

And board games. Those things would shrivel to dust if it weren’t for holidays.

Congratulations Keri!  I hope you are enjoying some dust-free board games today.   😉   I’ll email you to find out which wine you want and how we’ll get it to you.

Thanks for playing along and have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone!

Thanksgiving Menu

Thursday is almost here, and I’m looking forward to seeing my parents and sister!  Clyde is smoke-roasting a turkey again this year.  We’ll also serve stuffing, mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, waldorf salad, cranberry sauce, and a leafy salad.  Plus, I always make my mom bring her delicious pecan pie for dessert – it’s the best!

What are you doing for Thanksgiving this year?  Let us know in the comment section by midnight Wednesday Nov. 24, and I’ll give away a bottle of our wine to a random commenter (winner can chose which variety).  Check back on Thanksgiving Day to see who wins.

Good luck with this give-away and with your Thanksgiving preparations!  Cheers!

Norton Review

Our attention was just brought to the Wine Compass Blog this morning.   This post has quite a nice write up of the Norton wine trail here in Missouri.  If you scroll down a ways on the page, you’ll find a favorable review of Peaceful Bend. It’s always flattering to know that you all enjoy the wines as much as we enjoy making them!  Cheers!
