Pepe has decided that he is actually human and belongs at the table for all good wine garden conversations and snacks. Yesterday’s warm afternoon temperatures brought out the picnickers and all our animals enjoyed a few treats. As you can see, Pepe has developed a unique way to beat out the competition for snacks!
“Could you please pass the sausage and crackers over here to me? Oh, and ignore that animal down there begging for food…she’s such a dog.”
I’ll be at the YMCA Trout Lodge all day on Saturday Feb. 26 to teach wine & ambiance classes during their Women’s Wellness event. That event is sold out, so if you are searching for something to do this weekend, how about coming by and heckling Clyde for me?!! 🙂
If you do come out, be sure to pickup a wine passport. This is a new program where you can get stamps at each of the Missouri wineries you visit, then redeem them online for great rewards. Learn more about the Missouri winery passports here.
Also, I noticed our favorite brewery in Rolla, MO – Public House Brewery – has a new website. Click on their name to check out what they are offering.
Finally, good luck to all the amateur winemakers that have entered the Missouri Winemaking Society’s amateur wine competition in St. Louis this weekend!
Last week was a great tease for spring. The warm temperatures made it possible to finally get out on the porch with our glass of wine and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Unfortunately, I’m afraid the rain today will end our warm temperatures for a while. It was great while it lasted though – hope you were able to get out and enjoy some nice weather last week!
