You guys! Wow! What a night this past Saturday turned out to be. I was thrilled to see so many of you come out and really get into the spirit of the evening. It was incredibly fun to dress up in 1920’s fashions, listen to the music, play games, take silly photos, and just enjoy being in the cellar with you all! I had so many photos to go through, that I just finally figured out what to post here today. Here’s a peek into the evening and for even more photos, check out our facebook page here.
Lisa London and Jerrold “the godfather of sax” Holmes entertained us with classic old-time jazz and blues (along with several modern pieces too).
I rigged up a ‘mug shot’ style photo booth complete with props. Thank you to everyone on facebook that helped out with creative suggestions of ‘wine gangster’ names I used on the mugshot cards! Here are other guests having fun at the photo booth….
This photo is most of the people that helped work the event for me. From the left, Jon was our black jack dealer, Peggy was the Roulette dealer, Debbie & Crystal snazzed me up with hair and makeup along with helping out with various other small chores, and Steve was our doorman who made sure nobody got in without the password. Steve’s wife Cheri was taking this picture, and was a huge help carrying things up and down stairs, setting out food, and generally helping out where ever someone was needed. Also not pictured here is Donnie, who directed parking then worked in the salesroom, and his wife Amanda who worked the tasting room all night. THANK YOU ALL!!!!!
We had a blast at the blackjack and roulette tables throughout the evening. I was terrible at roulette, but ended up winning a few chips when I played blackjack.
When folks weren’t dancing, playing games, or taking photos, they were enjoying the food, wine, and each other’s company….
There were so many other fun moments from Saturday night. Here’s just a few more photos of all the action….
Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy our first speakeasy party! I hope you all enjoyed the party as much as we did. If you have photos from Saturday night, we’d love to see them. You can share them here or on our facebook page. Cheers!
