This is the time of year I cut everything back so it can grow again in the summer. My bleeding heart is taking over everything so I always have to pull some of it up. You have the red with white interior – mine is the reverse. The imperial blue plumbago blooms most of the year round except winter. Purple Mexican petunias too. I have some unusual bromeliads which bloom in the spring. Desert rose and red lilies. My Easter lilies have come up, but don’t usually bloom until the end of May. I’ve been busy cleaning up the yard and getting everything fertilized before it gets too hot here in Florida.

Good question! We just had a crocus bloom today, which I thought I had missed. Usually they are just ahead of the daffodils, but this year, I guess they all decided to bloom together!
