The Shed-teau Update

interim tasting room update

Clyde has been working hard to create a more welcoming space in our interim tasting room – now coined the ‘shed-teau’ (ooo la la!) – and I wanted to share a few of the updates he’s made recently.

Here’s a quick video tour of what you’ll see when you visit us this winter:

And if you don’t want to watch the video, I’ve got a few pics of the space too.

Two changes you’ll notice outside are a window to let a bit more natural light inside and a level platform that will hopefully make it easier to step into the room.

Inside we have our tasting room table in front of a few of the tanks and barrels we purchased this summer.

And opposite the tasting room table, we now have three tables and  a few chairs, just in case you’d like to hang out for a bit.  We do have a heater, and lots of insulation so the space is nice and cozy.  Clyde plans to dry wall next week too, so there might be a few more changes when you visit.

I’ll be open this weekend, but we will be closed on Thanksgiving day and Friday.  We’ll re-open on Saturday after Thanksgiving, so if you’re low on wine after the turkey dinner, you can get stocked back up. For more about our holiday hours, click over to this page.

While you’re here you can take advantage of our winter wine promotion too. For every 4 bottles of wine you purchase, you’ll receive a free logo wine glass.  It’s a little gift for you to thank you for putting up with our craziness while we get back in business.  Cheers!

Winter Wine Promotion

wine promotion: buy 4 bottles, get a free logo wine glass

The holidays are just about here, and cold weather will be moving in soon.  This makes it the perfect time to come out to Peaceful Bend and stock up on wine.  Plus, you’ll get to take advantage of our winter wine promotion: for every 4 bottles of wine you purchase, you’ll receive a FREE logo wineglass!

I know it isn’t ideal out here these days while we rebuild, so we did want to try to thank everyone for their patience.  This wine promotion is our attempt at letting you know how much your business means to us.

We’ll be open on the weekends (Fri-Sun) from 11am to dark in November, or you can call us at 573-775-3000 to make an appointment at another time to visit.  We’ll be set up in the ‘shed-teau’ from now until the new building is ready.

Clyde and I are looking forward to seeing you and sharing in some Thanksgiving stories this year too, so we’ll be open on the Saturday & Sunday after Thanksgiving for you to visit.  Hopefully we’ll have more to show off in the new winery too.  Cheers!

Last Weekend Might Have Gone To The Dogs

Amanda shakes Pepe's paw

Pepe made the rounds again this past weekend as everyone enjoyed the afternoon in our makeshift outdoor tasting room.  I think he’s trying to tell Amanda where the treat box is located!

Live music provided by Adam Yount

Adam Yount kept everyone entertained throughout the afternoon.  This guitar has been fixed up recently, but was only used sparingly on Saturday.  However, Adam kept his other guitar smokin’ all day!

Mike and Robin brought two of their great danes to enjoy the music.  Their brindle great dane, Bryce, found everything very relaxing!

While Bryce slept, our guests Amanda and Steve were surrounded by other dogs.  Pepe’s in the chair, and Maggie is at Steve’s feet, while Steve’s own husky, Mishka, surveys the crowd.  You just never knew when dog treats would appear!

This group of folks come every year

This group visits us every year while they take an annual camping trip in the area.  They were getting in the Halloween spirit while we got the front porch ready at the beginning of the day.

And one final peek at the day that a customer took with his drone.  Once he gets up there, the view is amazing!

Thanks so much to everyone who joined us this weekend!  We will do it all over again this coming Saturday, when we will host Mark Gordon from 2-5pm.  If you haven’t taken a break yet this fall, then be sure to come out and enjoy the afternoon with us!
