Here at Peaceful Bend, we’ve always taken inspiration from nature and the resources that surround our beautiful area. We’ve taken pride in creating distinctive wine blends named after the rivers and creeks that flow through and around the idyllic town of Steelville. We also craft two beers available on draft for our patrons to enjoy. Plus, as of 2023, our brand-new adventure/passion is distilling rum!

Find our current offerings below, and make time to visit us for a tasting. Most days, no reservations are needed, and you’ll want to plan to stay to enjoy everything we offer once you find a favorite (or three!).

White Wines:

  • Courtois : a dry white, light acidity and medium body. Apple, melon and floral notes make this wine a fantastic pairing with trout, brie, and pickled vegetables
  • Dry Creek: a dry white, barrel-fermented and sur lie aged white perfect for smoked fish, pork, or full-flavored cheeses.
  • Harvest Mist: a semi-dry white blend with flavors reminiscent of honey and oranges. Pair this wine with fruit desserts, salads, or grilled brats.
  • Whittenburg : a semi-sweet white with a medium body. Floral & tropical notes make for a surprisingly complex wine. Pairs deliciously with spicy foods, salads of all kinds, and oranges.

Red Wines:

  • Forche Renault: Dry red blend of Syrah & Malbec. The wine maker had fun trying out a few non-Missouri grown grapes for this light, fun blend. Oak aging brings a peppery note that pairs perfectly with beef or pork.
  • Yadkin Creek : A lighter, friendly, semi-dry blend of Chambourcin and Norton, done exclusively in stainless steel tanks to preserve Chambourcin’s fruity notes. Delicious when paired with Thai food or anything with raspberries.

Beers:

  • Gold Ale: a golden-hued, single malt, single hop beer refreshingly perfect for summer days.
  • Bronze Ale: a malty, dark beer similar to a porter. Drink this if you love flavor and rich texture.

Spirits:

  • Hill Dew: Yep, Hill Dew, and not just in a pinch either. We may love a good pun, but we are seriously proud of this silver-style rum made from whole cane sugar. Perfect for your tiki drinks or a vodka substitute in bloody marys or mules.
  • Yule Dew: It might sound like it’s smacking of holiday desperation, but this highly sippable spiced rum packs in the flavor that will leave your taste buds so satisfied.
